During the survival skills session the children worked in small groups designing a shelter that could contain their own team. This task enabled the children to develop team work, communication and problem solving skills. Once completed they had to present their shelter to the rest of the groups pointing out the different features of their structure. They also had a turn at using a flint and steel to set cotton wool alight, in which everyone was successful in achieving. "It was so much fun going down the zip wire, it slightly tricky being lowered off afterwards." Said Ashley Zach and Erin said "We really enjoyed the speed of flying down the zip wire." The 3G swing was all about team work. We had the challenge of pulling our friends to top and then having the courage to pull the release rope. It was a great feeling to fly through the air like the birds.
